Description

A column of military hardware was seen driving in the centre of Moscow on Thursday as Russia’s capital prepared for the Victory Day parade dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War.

Footage features military vehicles, including armoured vehicles, T-34 tanks, C-400 Triumph and Iskander missile systems, driving through Tverskaya street.

On March 20, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that more than 9,000 military personnel, 75 units of military hardware and aviation would take part in the parade in Moscow.

The Victory Day Parade is traditionally held on May 9 in Moscow's Red Square, as well as all around Russia.
