Locals in St. Petersburg were treated to an adrenaline-fuelled show on Saturday as the 'Master Panin' troupe showcased their most dangerous stunts.

Footage shows stuntmen doing somersaults over moving cars and racing in fiery motorcycles and monster trucks.

"It can get pretty scary at times. <...> for the pilot first and foremost. For the guys who are inside doing all these stunts, they're really dangerous, a spectator said.

"There are young guys in their early 20s who do the most dangerous stunts. There's Pasha, who is the only person in the world today who jumps over the BMW,” explained showrunner Pavel Rakov. “He's the only person in the world today.”

The 'Master Panin Stuntmen Show' will take place from July 5 to 14 and feature hair-raising performances from 20 professionals.

Igor Panin, founder of the Master stunt team, the first of its kind in Russia, is president of the Federation of Extreme Sports and vice-president of the International Stunt Academy.
