Russia's Roscosmos staff presented NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson with flowers and a Matryoshka stacking doll as the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft touched down in Kazakhstan's Ulytau region on Monday.

Footage shows Dyson and two Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub being greeted with applause and assisted in getting out the capsule.

The crew landed near the Kazakh city of Jezkazgan on Monday at 16:59 local time (11:59 GMT).

Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub arrived at the station on September 15, 2023 and set a new world record for the longest time spent aboard the ISS within a single mission - 374 days. Dyson launched on March 23, 2024 and completed a six-month research mission, spanning 184 days in space.

Roscosmos reported that Expedition 72 to the International Space Station (ISS), primarily staffed by Russian cosmonauts and American astronauts, was ongoing.
