The Indian Prime Minister arrived in Moscow at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin for bilateral talks. The Indian politician is also expected to attend a number of events in the Russian capital during a visit that will last from 8 to 9 July.

Modi's last trip to Russia was in 2019, when the PM attended the Far Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok. He will travel to Austria at the conclusion of his visit.
