Footage filmed on Saturday shows delegates from India and Kazakhstan, wearing Cossack papakhs (hats) and traditional Pavlovo Posad shawls, dancing Russian national dances to an accordion, while other WYF participants can be seen dancing along and applauding.

The World Youth Festival takes place from 1-7 March 2024, to develop international youth co-operation and to bring together 20,000 young people. The regional programme will take place from 10-17 March 2024, during which the participants will visit 30 Russian cities.
