Hundreds of Narva residents gathered on the bank of the river that marks the Estonia-Russia border to watch a Victory Day concert in Russia’s Ivangorod on Thursday.

Footage shows hundreds of people standing on the embankment and watching the concert from afar. Celebration participants with Russian flags and Victory Banners were also seen on the footage.

According to the Estonian National Television and Radio Broadcasting company, several thousand people gathered near the Narva River, with police officers patrolling the embankment.

Victory Day is celebrated across Russia and around the world, marking the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
