I want peace for the whole planet, without any destruction," said Bishkek resident Venera Tazhibayeva.
Another local resident, Svetlana Dum, similarly congratulated everyone on New Year's Eve and wished peace in each family. "I want peace. I want everyone to live in friendship and peace. I wish all people to be well, and every family to be in peace," she said.
