“Firstly, her visit means support to Taiwan," said Cheng Sheng-Yuen, an estate agent. "We welcome her with full heart," he added.
However, others questioned the motivations behind the visit.
"I think it is the US policy, they just care about themselves," said Jenny Fei, a pharmacist. "They do not care about the problem of ordinary people in other countries," she added.
