Description

Supporters of US President Donald Trump held a 'Stop the Steal' vigil in front of Georgia Capitol in Atlanta on Sunday.

The vigil was marked by the presence of several people carrying rifles and concluded by Trump supporters lighting candles in prayer.

"Ultimately we're praying for the country, the world under President Trump will be united, will be peaceful, and we know that the evil has infiltrated the elections process and brought darkness into this country. We are here to pray and we know Jesus shall listen because we will storm the heavens in a minute here with our prayers and our candles lit and the flames will carry it into the doors of heaven," said a woman attending the vigil.

Trump went as far as saying he would end up winning the 2020 US presidential election during his first post-poll rally in the Georgia city of Valdosta on Saturday. He has alleged widespread voter fraud following the election results, with his lawyers launching a series of court cases in an attempt to scrutinise the results.

On December 1, US Attorney General William Barr announced no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the election had been uncovered.
