The captain of Egypt’s national football team, Mohammed Salah, gave a press briefing in Yaounde on Saturday, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final match against Senegal.

“This is the only game we have to focus on, [these are] the only 90 minutes we have to play at the moment,” commented Salah.

In the match against Senegal, Salah will be faced with his Liverpool FC-teammate Sadio Mane.

“Tomorrow we are going to be rivals, [but] after tomorrow we are going to be teammates again, '' said Salah, in reference to playing against Mane.

The AFCON final will take place on Sunday at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde.
