Description

Approximately 500 Wisconsin Guard Soldiers and Airmen packed their gear and boarded multiple flights bound for Washington DC early on Saturday morning from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Members of the National Guard from the 32nd 'Red Arrow' infantry brigade combat team, the 115th fighter wing and the 128th air refueling wing, who provided the aircraft, were seen loading equipment and boarding KC-135 aircraft en route to Washington DC.

The National Guard announced last week that it will send over 21,000 troops from all over the US in order to increase security for January 20th when President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration will take place.

A large US National Guard presence has already been seen erecting fences, barricades and securing the US Capitol in Washington DC throughout the week.
