Ahead of his side's clash against Eygpt in the Africa Cup of Nations final, Senegal coach Aliou Cisse commented on the opponent and his side's readiness to face Mo Salah and co on Sunday.

"We know the Egyptian team, it is a team with a lot of character, it is a team that plays with its philosophy, with its way of playing. As I say, they are the most African Arab team on the African continent, if I can put it that way. Because it is full of players who played in Zamalek (Egypt Premier League team), who play for the Pirates. So they know the African realities, they have a lot of experience. What interests us is to concentrate on what we want to do and not on what Egypt is doing," said Cisse in a press briefing in Yaounde on Saturday.

Egypt beat host nation Cameroon in a dramatic penalty shootout in the previous round to book their place in the final. Led by Liverpool Star Mohamed Salah, the Pharaohs remain in contention to win a record eighth continental title.

Senegal of co-Liverpool striker Sadio Mane defeated Burkina Faso to reach their second final in a row having lost to Algeria in 2019. The Lions of Teranga will hope to win their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations.
