Footage captured on Tuesday shows international companies, including Elon Musk's Tesla, showcasing their latest products and technological innovations at the event, which lasts until April 18.

“We make recycling an easy and fun experience for everyone and we collect your plastic bottles and give you some rewards in return that you can spend for your favorite groceries and other shopping experiences," said Maxim Kaplevich, Founder and CEO of Sparklo.

"We are excited about participating in this event and we are ready to put as many machines as possible to collect all the bottles in the UAE and beyond," he added

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the summit attracts more than 40,000 visitors from all over the world and is an important meeting place for industry leaders, policymakers and tech startups to work collaboratively for a cleaner future.

The summit also hosts the 'Future Energy Leaders' programme, which is organized by the Masdar Institute. The initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage students to engage in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors, according to the Emirati Ministry of Economy.
