APEC leaders' meeting kicked off on its second day this Friday in the Thai capital Bangkok.

The US Vice President Kamala Harris and French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to deliver keynote speeches on the last day of the APEC's CEO Summit, happening simultaneously.

The first session of the day was the Leaders' Meeting Retreat (Session 1) – Balanced, Inclusive and Sustainable Growth.

Attending the summit's first in-person summit in four years, among others, are Chinese President Xi Jinping, the US Vice President Kamala Harris, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The US President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are represented by the US Secretary of State and Russian Deputy PM respectively.
