The curling teams of Great Britain and Sweden spoke to the press on Saturday after picking up silver and gold medals at the Beijing Winter Olympics, with one Swedish curler commenting 'it's way more fun winning than losing.'

Sweden's victory came as Great Britain attempted to secure their first gold medal of this year's Winter Games.

"We’re still reasonably young, we’re still going to try and get as far as we can in the sport," said British curler Bruce Mouat, expressing hopes that the team might one day win the World Curling Championships.

Regarding their team's win, Swedish curler Niklas Edin stated, "It's way more fun winning than losing."

"It’s tough to describe how happy we are. Super proud of the team that we stuck together, played the best tournament of our lives and the two best games in the play-offs," Edin continued.

Great Britain lost 4-5 to Sweden, who are the reigning world champions in the sport.

On Sunday, the British women's curling team won 10-3 against japan, picking up the country's only gold at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
