Description

Demonstrators gathered outside the Minnesota governor's residence in St Paul on Friday to protest the Police shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant.

Around 100 people attended the rally organized by Trahern Crews, a prevalent voice in Minnesota for the Black Lives Movement.

"We can't even celebrate [Derek] Chauvin getting found guilty on all three charges because they just killed another black person"

After gathering at Gov. Tim Walz's mansion, protesters marched the block around the residence carrying signs and shouting Bryant's name.

Bryant was fatally shot by the police in Columbus, Ohio, on Tuesday. She was seen in body camera footage charging at another teen with a knife when she was killed.

The incident has caused an outcry in the United States as Ma'Khia Bryant's killing is already the second high-profile deadly shooting of a teenager by US police within the last month.
