Protesters could be seen marching and chanting slogans such as "No justice, no peace" and "Black lives matter," while holding placards reading "Defund police." One of demonstrators could also be seen receiving medical treatment after being pepper sprayed.
The video, released on Wednesday, showed police covering Prude's head with a "spit hood" and holding him on the ground before he stopped breathing.
Prude was having a mental health episode on March 23 when his brother Joe called the Rochester Police Department for help.
