Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the first edition of the Egypt International Airshow (EIAS) 2024 at Alamein International Airport on Wednesday, attracting delegates from over 100 countries.

Footage shows fighter jets performing breathtaking stunts in the sky of the city of Alamein, as well as warplanes and passenger aircraft exhibited on the ground. Pavilions of different aerospace manufacturing companies from around the world can also be seen.

Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialization, highlighted that more than 300 companies from over 100 countries are currently exhibiting at the Airshow.

It "offers a good opportunity to get to know about the activities of these states and companies and to connect with them," Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif.

Helmy Sharif, an advisor at Amstone EG, expressed that drones have become a dominant technology of the future, leading the company to enhance its expertise in this field.

"Amstone, managed to conduct partnerships with multiple countries. We are looking forward to fully manufacturing this product in Egypt soon, God willing," he said.

The event is designed to promote an international sharing of knowledge among key individuals in the aviation sector, encompassing defence, space, and commercial aviation.

The Airshow will be held on 3-5 September 2024.
