Former US President Donald Trump said that Israel is 'under attack right now' because the US 'shows great weakness', reacting to recent Iran's massive strikes on Israel, during his election campaign in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

"They’re under attack right now, that’s because we [the US] show great weakness. This would not have happened; the weakness that we've shown. It's unbelievable, and it would not have happened if we were in office. You know that. They know that. Everybody knows that," Trump said.

He also criticised Joe Biden's international policy, saying that the president only blames Russian leader Vladimir Putin, but 'it was Putin and plenty of other things that Biden got wrong.' "Americans know that the real blame for this nightmare lies with one person, Crooked Joe Biden," he concluded.

During the rally, Trump touched upon Biden's 'border bloodbath', recalling a high-profile case of an illegal immigrant from Brazil, Cavalcante, who escaped from prison after being sentenced to life for stabbing his girlfriend in front of her children.

"Joe Biden's border bloodbath — that's what it is; it's a bloodbath, a word that they misrepresented. His border bloodbath ends the day I take the oath of office," the former US president declared.

Iran launched a large-scale drone and missile strike at Israel on Sunday night, in retaliation for a suspected Israeli attack on an Iranian diplomatic complex in Syria.
