Description

A delivery driver in Manila has gained widespread internet fame for his trusty, and unique, sidekick - a duck named Kwak Kwak.

Christian Navarro Lacson from Angono travels around Bonifacio Global City with his feathered companion, both dressed in matching clothing, delivering food for the 'Grab' app.

Footage filmed on Saturday features Lacson and Kwak Kwak riding through the city on his motorcycle. Videos show the pair strolling through malls, making deliveries, and drawing crowds of onlookers.

“When we enter malls, people always seem happy. It brings me joy, relaxation, and good vibes," Lacson shared, adding that Kwak Kwak often earns him more tips. A TikTok video featuring the 'Grab Duck' has received nearly three million views.

Lacson explained that his decision to have a unique companion stemmed from a desire to stand out: “I wanted something unique because I want to grab people’s attention. I really wanted people to recognise me." Originally, he had considered getting a goat but settled on Kwak Kwak, which he believes is even more unique.

Despite the challenges of training such an unusual pet, Lacson has embraced the bond he shares with Kwak Kwak - and has even added another duck, Kikkik, to the family business.
