Description

Tourists and locals flocked to Guilin International Gardening Exposition Park, southern China, to witness a sea of blooming spider flowers.

Drone footage captured on Sunday features the rose-pink, purple and white flowers as well as tourists strolling through the park and taking pictures.

"Today is the weekend, and the weather is particularly good, so I will take my friends out to see the flower sea. This flower sea is so beautiful. After seeing it, I felt particularly happy and wanted to dance with my friends," shared one of the attendees, Miss Mo, who was seen dancing near the field of spider flowers.

"I heard that there is a flower sea here, so I came here specifically to take photos. When I arrived here and saw the flower sea, I felt that it was really beautiful. I have taken many beautiful photos," said another attendee, Mrs Tang.

She also said she hoped Guilin would 'develop more beautiful scenic spots' for residents.

Spider flowers, which spread over 10,000 square metres in the park, bloom in early autumn each year, beginning in the Guilin International Gardening Exposition Park on October 1 for China's National Day.
