The family of George Floyd spoke to the press at Black Lives Matter plaza in Washington DC, Tuesday, after meeting with US President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris, one year after Floyd's death.

"We just talked about how he changed the world, and we're looking forward to being able to get that George Floyd police act signed," Philonise Floyd, George's brother, said.

Floyd's three brothers, his daughter Gianna, his nephew and his sister participated in the meeting at the White House.

The Floyds also conducted talks with lawmakers at Capitol Hill to push for the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which aims for police reform and is currently stalled in the Senate.
