Description

Several injured and dead, including allegedly UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) workers, were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah on Friday following an alleged Israeli air strike on a UNRWA warehouse in Al Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, according to media reports.

Footage shows paramedics transporting an injured man wearing a UNRWA T-shirt and covering a dead body wearing a UNRWA vest. Doctors can also be seen treating injured and burned patients.

In a statement, the IDF announced on Saturday that it had 'struck a Hamas rocket launcher positioned within the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone with a precision raid'.

The Hamas-Israel war erupted after Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on southern Israel on October 7, killing 1,139 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping over 200, according to Israeli officials.

In the enclave, the IDF launched a large-scale campaign of airstrikes and ground incursions, killing at least 38,098 Palestinians and injuring more than 87,705 others as of the time of publication, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
