Description

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended a military parade in Baku on Thursday marking what Azerbaijan considers a 'victory' over Armenia in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

More than three thousand military personnel and around 150 units of military equipment were involved in the event, according to the Azerbaijani defence ministry.

After more than six weeks of hostilities, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a Russian-brokered deal to end the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh on November 9.

Ankara has been a major supporter of Azerbaijan and its President Ilham Aliyev during the conflict.
