Sicknick remains were placed at the Rotunda, where President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, were among the first to pay their respects.
Members of the US Congress will have the opportunity to honour Sicknick on Wednesday. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only invited guests will be allowed into the Rotunda.
