Description

At least six civilians, including three children, were reportedly killed and a further 14 wounded during an attack that targeted the Nayrab camp for Palestinian refugees in Aleppo on Tuesday, according to Syrian state news agency SANA.

SANA reported that the al-Qaida-linked Jabhat al-Nusra shelled residential areas in the southern quarter of the city from positions to the west and southwest of Aleppo and characterised the attack as a flagrant violation of the de-escalation zones’ agreement.

So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) recently launched an offensive against militants in the countryside of Hama and Idlib provinces in northern Syria.
