Thousands of people flocked to Ho Chi Minh as Gumball 3000 held its annual two-day event showcasing their multi-million supercars participating in a parade.

Footage captured on Saturday and Sunday shows dozens of cars decorated with logos and designs as attendees cheered and took photos and videos of the vehicles during the parade.

Some cars showcased at the event include the Koenigsegg Regera Honey edition, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Porsche's GT3 Plus. Luxury car brands such as Bugatti, Pagani and Ferrari were also seen participating in the event.

"I have been following this event for a long time, and this is the first time the event is held in Vietnam, it is impressive to know that there are more than 100 supercars participating in this event," one visitor said.

Another said he saw a lot of 'fun and excitement' as fellow car-lovers gathered to see the expensive vehicles coming from all over the world.

Gumball 3000 is an international car rally for celebrities and car-enthusiasts. This year, the event marks its Southeast Asian debut as it spans to five nations in the region, with Thailand as its next stop.

The convoy in Ho Chi Minh was led by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper, founder of the Gumball 3000, and YouTuber Mr. JWW (James Walker) in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, according to media reports.
