According to a report from the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim stressed the necessity to increase the capacity of defence units in emergency situations.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced on Thursday that North Korea was believed to have test-fired two short range missiles, estimated to have flown around 420 km (260 miles) and 270 km (167 miles).
