Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was speaking in Telford on Wednesday as part of his campaign for the upcoming general election, for which his party, he said, is "well prepared, well organised and utterly determined to win."

"If the British people elect a Labour government on the 12th of December, I will be proud to be a Labour prime minister. But, I have to warn you, it will be very different. It'll be a very different way of doing things, because I was not born to rule. None of us in this room were born to rule," said the Labour leader.

Corbyn further added that he wants "to seek power for our party in order to share that power with all across the country."

On October 29, the UK's House of Commons voted 438 to 20 to approve Prime Minister Boris Johnson's bill calling for an early general election on December 12.
