Protesters could be seen chanting 'Stop the war in Sudan' and slogans from the Sudanese revolution, while holding anti-war banners.
"I'm demanding the German government interfere between the Rapid Support Forces (sic) and the military to help with the negotiations for peace, that's all we are demanding just peace no war," Airman Ahmed, a Sudanese immigrant said.
“We're here to support our families, our friends from Sudan who are caught in a war right now and to our suffering, they don't have water. They don't have food. They don't have electricity,” added Faris, a Sudanese Citizen in Berlin.
A power struggle in Sudan between the army, led by the country's de facto ruler General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of deputy leader General 'Hemedti' Mohamed Hamdan Dagolo, has been ongoing in recent years and broke out in an armed conflict on Saturday, April 15.
At least 512 people have been killed so far since the conflict flared up, according to the country's Health Ministry.
