Eid al-Adha, or the Greater Eid, is known as the festival of the completion of the Hajj. On this day, Muslims remember the sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim, go to mosques and give alms to the poor and hungry. Eid al-Adha is celebrated over several consecutive days.
