"I'm expecting England to turn up and give us the best performance that they've done so far this season, it's going to be awesome," an English fan said. "We'll take anyone on. We'll take them all on."
A Slovakian fan stated: "It's going to be a win. It's definitely going to be a win. It's going to be a great game today and we're going to celebrate and have a lot of people together. That's in the foreground. It's going to be a good game, for sure."
While many fans expressed optimism that their teams would win this match, one Slovak fan was sceptical of his team's ability to beat England.
"To be honest, we are like... I think we will lose like 3-0. But we are here, we are enjoying and we are happy to be qualified and things like that. It's a pleasure to be here," he said.
In the group stage, England topped Group C comfortably - unbeaten against Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia. Meanwhile, Slovakia lost to Ukraine but still made it out of the group stage thanks to their victory over Belgium and a draw with Romania.
