Description

Dozens of protesters against the COVID-19 vaccine mandates gathered near Parliament Hill in Ottawa on Saturday to support the ongoing trucker convoy.

Trucks honked their horns as the convoy continued its noisy protest on Wellington Street right across the Parliament.

The protesters carried and waved Canadian flags while speaking to the truckers they continued to block off the streets for the eighth day in a row. There was a heavy police presence in the area as well.

The truckers are mainly protesting the recent requirement for drivers to be vaccinated or face testing and quarantine restrictions, along with the general COVID-19 restrictions in place such as wearing face masks.
