Thousands of tennis fans gathered at the grounds of the Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in New York City's Queens on Monday for the beginning of the US Open, the final grand slam of the year.
Footage shows fans arriving at the tennis centre, passing through security and entering the grounds.
"I think Djokovic is going to win this time because he's coming off a good gold medal win and he wants to take revenge on Alcaraz for Wimbledon," Ramsy said about the Serb's defeat to Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz last month.
"Last year was good this year is even better and you should always come when you're a fan," Djavan, a long-time fan of tennis stated, noting that he feels tennis is more competitive today than it was in the decades prior.
The world of tennis has faced controversy recently after world number one, Jannik Sinner, tested positive for a steroid, before then being cleared.
"The force that he can hit the ball with is pretty amazing to watch up close. That I think is going to give him a big-time edge, I don't know how that will fare against Djokovic but he is obviously thinking about him with all those concerns about the massage cream. I imagine it could come down to those two and it will be fun to watch," said tennis fan Clemence.
The US Open will last until September 8, with Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff the defending champions for the men's and women's singles respectively.
