Description

Thousands attended China's largest air show, the Zhuhai International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2024), to witness the lastest national achievements in military and civil aviation on Wednesday.

Footage showcases a wide array of aerospace, aviation, and military machinery, including models of lunar probes, satellites, and rockets, alongside aircraft produced by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC). Crowds of enthusiastic spectators were seen exploring the displays.

The exhibition highlighted several advanced systems, including the latest version of China's J-35A stealth fighter, the larger J-20 stealth fighter, the CH-7 stealth drone, and the HQ-19 air defense system.

"It just really blew my mind. I had only seen some planes on TV before, and then I saw them for the first time on-site. I felt very happy and at the same time, I was very proud of the prosperity and strength of our country," shared her emotions one of the attendees Miss Ruan.

Mr. Cui, another visitor with a background in airfields, remarked that China 'has achieved its goals' and voiced his hopes for continued growth, stating that he wishes it 'to develop better, faster, and stronger in the future.'

The 15th Airshow China, scheduled for November 12-17, has drawn over 1,000 exhibitors from 47 countries, including Russia, the U.S., France, and Saudi Arabia, marking an increase compared to previous years, according to media reports.

This exhibition, been held biennially since 1996, is the only international aerospace trade show conducted in collaboration between the Chinese government and aerospace companies, aiming to showcase actual products and promote technological exchange, according to the official Airshow China website.
