Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to the press in Budapest on Monday ahead of Portugal's opening match of Euro 2020 against Hungary.
Ahead of what seems to be the least dangerous team in the so called 'Group of Death,' Ronaldo reiterated that his team are well prepared.
"The team is ready, mentally and emotionally, for a great tournament. We know that the squad is young but this does not keep us away from thinking big. Therefore I think we will do a great Euros and the players are all ready."
Portugal will face Hungary at the Puskas Stadium in Budapest on Tuesday evening. The other teams making up group F are Germany and France.
"Despite continuing with Juventus or not, the most important thing now is the national team. I'm focused on that team now. Competitions like the Euros don't happen every day. I will compete as if it were my first Euros," remarked Ronaldo.
