Zhang Yixin, aka 'Duoduo,' from Shandong Province in north-eastern China, showed off her exceptional skiing skills down the slippery snow slopes of Yunju Ski Resort outside Beijing, as seen on Thursday.
Although she recently started skiing, she had the vital confidence to jump, spin, and slide side-to-side down the breathtaking tracks.
"On the third day when she learned to ski, she could slide backwards and quickly down the slope. At that moment, I thought she was too good. She was really a fast learner," explained Zhang Hekai, Duoduo's father.
Zhang was a roller-skating world champion himself, having won a national freestyle title in skiing. His daughter, who started rollerblading when she was about two years old, followed in his footsteps, ultimately winning a youth roller skating competition in her province.
Duoduo's father hopes that she can someday represent China in the Winter Olympic Games and win a medal for her country.
