The cake, dubbed the 'Peace of Cake' is decorated with Russian symbols such as samovar and matryoshka, as well as American sweets such as cupcakes and marshmallows.
The recipe also touches on the cultural differences between the country.
“The sense behind this cake is quite symbolic, because first of all it’s made of two different cakes, one side is ‘Medovik’ [honey cake], a traditional Slavic and Russian cake. And this part is red velvet, which is more an American recipe and it’s known as an American cake," explained Johnson.
US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin will meet at the 18th-century Villa La Grange located in the south of Geneva on Wednesday.
