Former US President Donald Trump said "we will be back in some form" as he delivered his farewell speech to dozens of supporters at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George's County, Maryland on Wednesday.
"I wish the new administration, great luck and great success. I think they'll have a great success they have the foundation to do something really spectacular and again we've put it in a position like it's never been before, despite the worst plague to hit since, I guess you'd say 1917, over a 100 years ago," said the former US President speaking to a crowd that included his children.
At the end of his remarks the former president boarded Air Force One for a final time as he headed to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
