"This was a dream come true for me. It's proof that when you work hard and dedicate yourself fully to your goals, you can achieve them. As I said before, great things were achieved in Beijing, and I am sure that with all this preparation and in the four years we have to go to Milan (where the next Olympic Games will be held), even greater things can be achieved," said the young skater.
Carrillo finished the Olympics with a total score of 218.13 points on February 9. Despite not being among the medalists, Donovan Carrillo's performance was the best result obtained by a Mexican skater in the history of the Winter Games.
