UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson called Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn a "Hamas-backing, IRA supporting, anti-Semitism condoning appeaser of the Kremlin" during his final rally in London on Wednesday, ahead of the general election.

Johnson also said that in case of Labour victory, Corbyn would form a coalition with First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon, in which case "she would get her way" on another independence referendum in Scotland.

"We know who would wear the trousers in that relationship," he added.

"I can't remember an election in my political lifetime, when there has been such a yawning chasm between the two possible futures for this country," said the prime minister.

The general election takes place on Thursday, with the latest opinion polls showing the gap between Tories and Labour narrowing.
