A Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the Progress MS-26 cargo spaceship to the International Space Station (ISS) launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on Thursday.
According to the Roscosmos press service, all stages of the launch were completed successfully.
"The docking of Progress MS-26 to the Zvezda Service Module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station is planned for 17 February at 09:12 GMT," the state corporation added.
Roscosmos stated that Progress MS-26 would deliver 2,518 kilograms of cargo to the ISS, including hardware and equipment for station systems and scientific experiments, as well as clothing, food, medical and sanitation supplies, fuel for the station, drinking water and nitrogen.
The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket was constructed by the Progress Rocket Space Centre, while the Progress MS-26 spaceship was designed by the S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation (RSC) Energia.
