Russian President Vladimir Putin set off for his inauguration ceremony at the Grand Kremlin Palace on Tuesday.

Footage shows the soldiers from the Presidential Regiment transporting the Russian Constitution and the President's Badge through the Kremlin's Hall. Subsequently, the Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, and Constitutional Court Chairperson Valery Zorkin proceeded to the podium ahead of the start of the ceremony.

During these preparations, the Russian leader departed from the Senate Palace's reception room in an upgraded Aurus Senat limousine, and joined the procession to the Grand Kremlin Palace for the inauguration.

It marked Putin's fifth inauguration ceremony. Russia's presidential election took place on March 15-17. Turnout was 77.49 percent with Putin receiving over 87 percent of the vote.
