Description

Dozens of dogs and their owners took part in the PetshopDays 2024 festival in St Petersburg.

Footage filmed on Saturday shows the furry ones with their owners participating in a variety of activities: floating on paddle boards, jumping in the pool, walking around the park and enjoying sunny days outdoors.

"This is the first time such a very cool event has been organised. We are on holiday. We really wanted to find out what it was all about and experience these cool emotions. Our friends brought us," said Victoria, a corgi owner.

Ekaterina, another participant, expressed positive emotions about the swim and emphasised that the festival provided a great opportunity to meet a lot of people and dogs.

"It's really cool because you can't swim with your dog everywhere, but here you can," she added.

The PetshopDays festival has been taking place since 2017, and during this time it has acquired a federal scale. Every year, apart from sport activities and entertainment, the event hosts the City of Kindness charity campaign that enables participants to help a pet shelter or get a furry tail friend.
