Orozo Ait is Eid al-Fitr in Turkic languages. It is the second most important holiday in the Muslim world, which symbolises the end of fasting in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Ait namaz is a solemn collective prayer performed by Muslims on the days of Orozo Ait (Eid al-Fitr) and Eid al-Ait (Kurban al-Adha).

Since 1994, Orozo Ait has been celebrated as a public holiday in Kyrgyzstan.
