The eighth meeting of BRICS industry ministers takes place on Friday at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, under Russia's chairmanship of the organisation. Representatives will discuss the development of co-operation and ties between members states.
The BRICS group, now often dubbed 'BRICS+', including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, and four new members - Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.
