"We are receiving a lot of threats taking into account current Russian situation, but we have made a clear decision for ourselves to move towards cooperation regardless of Western conditions," Mohamed bin Zayed said.
In turn, the Russian president noted an increase in the number of Russian tourists to the UAE.
"Last year we had, I think, I don't remember by how much, but a very big increase in our tourists. A million, 900,000, and before that, it was 300,000, I think. A threefold increase. Colleagues tell me that this year we already have 500,000 tourists", Putin noted.
Al Nahyan expressed optimism that the number of Russian tourists visiting would exceed one million this year.
The 26th SPIEF is scheduled to take place from June 14-17. According to Roscongress, the organizers, over 17,000 individuals from 130 countries and territories are expected to participate.
The Forum has been held since 1997 and has been under the patronage and participation of the Russian Federation's president since 2005.
