Volodin stated, "We must do everything to contribute to the development of relations between our states through our parliaments. Today, relationships are built through the work of our presidents. It is very important for us to build our relations on a systematic basis using new formats that produce positive results."
Boughali expressed Algeria's interest in further strengthening cooperation with Russia.
Later in the day, Volodin is scheduled to meet with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to discuss enhancing inter-parliamentary relations, as well as economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
