Putin's official visit to Pyongyang, scheduled for June 18-19, includes discussions on various topics such as the economy, energy, agriculture, trade, international relations, and security. This visit marks Putin's second trip to DPRK; he first visited in 2000 to meet with Kim Jong Un's father, Kim Jong Il.

Following his visit to DPRK, Putin is set to travel to Hanoi at the invitation of Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary General of the Vietnamese Communist Party's Central Committee.
