A rally demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continued in Yerevan on Sunday evening.
Footage shows protesters with Armenian flags gathering in the city and listening to the address by Garnik Danielyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction.
"Dear compatriots, we will not leave each other, we will hold hands, accept each other's pain and stand by each other. We will stay until the end, as long as it takes," Danielyan said.
At the time of publication, no detentions were reported. The Armenian police urged citizens to respect public order.
Ahead of the demonstration Gurgen Melikyan, one of the leaders of the Tavush for the Homeland Movement, said that the organisation had nominated Galstanyan for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia.
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, head of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), reportedly organised the protest. Earlier, on May 10, he indicated that opposition party factions would initiate impeachment proceedings against Pashinyan over territorial concessions to Baku.
On 7 May, at a press conference, Pashinyan stated his refusal to heed the protesters' demands.
On April 19, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced that four villages - Baghanis Ayrum, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli and Ghizilhajili - would be transferred to Baku.
